One of our road trips was to
see the my family from the Elkhorn City, KY area. Part
of the trip was on the "AA Highway" (KY-9) and US-23,
the "Country
Music Highway", so named since several stars were
from the area near here (Dwight Yoakum, Loretta Lynn, Crystal
Gayle, Patty Loveless).
I don't make a point of celebrity
worship, but I do have some famous relatives. I am a very distant
relative of both Loretta
Lynn, Crystal Gayle and Patty Loveless. I grew up in
the same holler as Patty Loveless as well.
